Puppy Sitting, Training & Care

We are dedicated to providing personalized care tailored to your puppy’s unique requirements! We are more than equipped to cater to young pups who require indoor accommodation before they are fully vaccinated, crave playtime and nourishment, need leash training support, or wish to socialize and take part in a neighborhood walk with a small group. Whether it’s assisting with their routine, managing their energy levels, reinforcing potty training, or facilitating social interactions, we are here to support you and your newest family member every step of the way.

Having your pup on private walks or small pack walks with 1 or 2 other dogs allows your pup to work on the training you’ve implemented in a supervised, safe, and contained environment without putting them in a daycare or off-leash environment. This is crucial because it can be overstimulating for some pups! Our amazing Pet Professionals can help reinforce your pup’s basic training skills and good manners, assist with potty training, and support socialization. Your pup’s well-being is our top priority!

Puppy Tips

Basic Training & Manners

We are fully committed to ensuring that the training you and your beloved dog are engaged in remains consistent and effective! Our dedicated Pet Professionals possess the expertise to offer customized training reinforcement aligned with your commands and the overall behavior expectations for your pup. Our experienced walkers are well-versed in positive reinforcement training and clicker training, enabling them to tailor their walks with your dog to reinforce the basic training skills and manners you’ve been diligently working on, such as sit & wait, leave it, and drop it.

Potty Training

Are you struggling to establish a potty break schedule that suits your puppy’s needs? We can assist in creating a tailored schedule to ensure your puppy is not left alone for extended periods. Our experienced dog walkers can provide relief by allowing your dog a quick potty break on a pee pad or a brief walk outside, depending on their vaccinations. They are also able to engage with your puppy indoors, work on commands, and provide meals as needed. Simply communicate your requirements for each visit, and we will gladly accommodate them!

Socialization

It’s crucial for your furry friend’s overall happiness and health to have the chance to socialize with other dogs. Teaching them how to engage and communicate effectively with their canine companions in a calm, supportive, and secure setting is essential for their growth. Instead of overwhelming daycare or off-leash play, consider small pack walks as a wonderful alternative. These walks can offer the opportunity for socialization, the chance to pick up good habits from other dogs, and a positive way to release energy without compromising potty training or allowing play to become unruly. With our certified dog walkers, your pup will receive careful supervision while enjoying the company of their beloved doggie pals.

Separation Anxiety

Having someone else walk your dog can greatly benefit your puppy by helping them become more at ease with new people entering their home, while also establishing a consistent routine that your dog can anticipate. This positive and reliable interaction with someone outside your household can help prevent potential separation anxiety in your puppy. Regular walks by a member of our team can empower your pup to become more confident and independent during their time apart from you.

Destructive Behaviors

There are various ways a dog might engage in destructive behavior. The most common examples of destructive dog behaviors include:

  • Chewing
  • Digging
  • Barking
  • Jumping
  • Other unusual acts that are destructive in nature.

All of these can be problematic for dog owners. Chewing destroys valuables; digging ruins the floor and your yard; barking disturbs neighbors; and so on. These acts need an understanding of why they occur in the first place to prevent them from happening. While your dog may seem like a vicious furball intent on destroying anything in their way, the reason behind these behaviors may be simpler than you think. And we are here to help you modify and rid those behaviors! We will also help you understand the causes of it. It is important for all dog owners to recognize the root cause of destructive behavior to address it effectively. We can help puppy owners reduce these behaviors and promote a happy, healthy life for their pups.
